This position is open to internal applicants within Cass Human Service Zone only.
Cass Human Service Zone Family Services Team is seeking an In-Home and Foster Care Case Manager to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families in our community.
In-Home and Foster Care Case Manager duties include but not limited to:
<ul><li>Assess and provide case management services for children residing in the home</li><li>
Develop case plans, goals, and safety plans for caretakers and children</li><li>
Reduce identified risks of child abuse and neglect</li><li>
Provide information and referral services for children and families</li><li>

In Home and Foster Care Case Manager

<div>North Dakota Health and Human Services is looking for a Disability Claims Analyst for the Disability Determination Services divsion located in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Help improve the quality of life for North Dakotans with disabilities who apply for or receive Social Security Administration disability benefits. ND Department of Health &amp; Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Disability Claims Analyst for its Disability Determination Services Division (DDS).
As our Disability Claims Analyst, you will begin your role with a 13-week extensive training program followed by continued support, feedback, and training from division training staff. You will gather and analyze medical evidence to make medical determinations of eligibility for Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplementary Security Income benefits so applicants can get the resources they need. You will interact via telephone with the applicant, doctors, medical consultants, governmental sources, Social Security field offices, private institutions and/or employers to obtain medical evidence. You will request medical examinations to provide additional documentation if needed. You will analyze medical evidence with DDS medical consultants to document and make medical disability decisions.
To succeed in this position, you should be comfortable working in a production environment with a continuous caseload and an emphasis on quality. You will be an inquisitive and constant learner open to observation and feedback. You should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively in order to meet division and federal standards. <div>Vocational Rehabilitation is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in the Williston, North Dakota area.

RSR Human Service Zone is seeking a Child Protection Assessment Worker / Human Services V (39-41-5981) in our Child Welfare Unit.
Join our high performing child welfare unit at RSR Human Service Zone! This position is responsible to provide safety assessment services to children and families. Additionally, you will provide advocacy while promoting family stability, respecting diversity, and working to create and strengthen connections to community resources. We work to prevent abuse by providing education, resources, and support to parents, families, and community organization. You will coordinate with internal and external service providers, while ensuring timely and quality service provision.
To succeed in this position, you will have a passion for helping others and making a difference in our community. This position maintains responsibilities of a highly complex and sensitive nature and requires a high degree of knowledge, skills, and passion in child welfare. Work activities involve decision-making within parameters of approved policies and procedures, thorough, accurate and timely responses as well as accurate documentation that complies with State and Federal Regulations. This position also requires coordination with local service providers, law enforcement and legal entities, as well as emergency response planning. This role will require testifying at court proceedings.
This position requires some afterhours/non-traditional working hours including on call response. Frequent travel throughout a 4-5 county area in southeastern North Dakota is required.
To be considered for this role: you must hold a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, human resource management (human service track), or criminal justice, and two (2) years of professional human services work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager. A Master's degree in one of the areas above may substitute for one year of the work experience requirement.
