Our commitment to precision, safety, and customer satisfaction drives our reputation for quality in everything we produce.Job Summary:Steelworks of the Carolinas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facility, which includes both office spaces and a working steel fabrication environment.Please note: some areas of the facility are open to the environment and may be subject to temperature and weather variations.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Clean and restock bathrooms daily</li><li>Sanitize and maintain a small kitchen area</li><li>Empty and remove trash from office and shop containers</li><li>Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in the main offices, the production office, and the training office</li><li>Dust surfaces and maintain general cleanliness</li><li>Perform other general janitorial duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety</li><li>Must be dependable and punctual</li><li>Comfortable working in a steel fabrication facility, including areas open to the environment</li></ul>Benefits (after 90-day training period):<ul><li>Consistent day-shift hours (no weekends)</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance &ndash; Company-sponsored</li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan</li><li>Vacation: 5 days accrued in the first year</li><li>Bonus Program: Annual eligibility based on company profitability and individual performance</li><li>Life Insurance: $15,000 company-paid coverage</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Work Location: In person
