Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Pay: $18-22 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

Steelworks of the Carolinas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facility, which includes both office spaces and a working steel fabrication environment.

Please note: some areas of the facility are open to the environment and may be subject to temperature and weather variations.

Responsibilities:

Clean and restock bathrooms daily
Sanitize and maintain a small kitchen area
Empty and remove trash from office and shop containers
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in the main offices, the production office, and the training office
Dust surfaces and maintain general cleanliness
Perform other general janitorial duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be authorized to work in the United States
Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
Must be dependable and punctual
Comfortable working in a steel fabrication facility, including areas open to the environment
