The Role
We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager (Automation &amp; Integration) who leads from the front. This is not a &ldquo;review pull requests from a distance&rdquo; role. You will actively design, build, and improve systems while leading a team of developers and driving projects from idea to delivery.
This role leads our software engineering team while shaping how we use modern low-code / no-code platforms &mdash; primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem &mdash; to automate processes, integrate systems, and reduce unnecessary custom development.
The goal is not to eliminate engineering, but to ensure it is applied where it creates the most value.
This role requires a high level of autonomy, sound judgment, and comfort with ambiguity. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted technical partner, helping drive innovation, challenge assumptions, and move the organization forward.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence
</li><li>Actively design, build, and maintain .NET applications and Web APIs
</li><li>Own and guide software architecture, technical standards, and long-term system direction
</li><li>Evaluate when to use low-code / no-code platforms (such as Microsoft Power Platform) versus custom development
</li><li>Define and implement patterns for automation and system integration across ERP (P21), SQL, Microsoft 365, and other platforms
</li><li>Work directly with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and shape practical, scalable solutions
</li><li>Drive project planning, prioritization, and delivery across multiple initiatives
</li><li>Navigate ambiguity, tradeoffs, and constraints with practical, business-aware decision-making
</li><li>Perform code reviews and maintain high standards for quality, performance, and maintainability
</li><li>Continuously improve how the team builds, delivers, and supports solutions

</li></ul>Required Technical Skills<ul><li>
Strong, hands-on experience with C# and .NET
</li><li>Experience building applications using ASP.NET and Blazor
</li><li>Designing and implementing RESTful Web APIs
</li><li>Experience with system integration and data flow across platforms
</li><li>Strong understanding of SQL and data-driven systems
</li><li>Experience working with or integrating Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, M365, Azure)
</li><li>Solid command of object-oriented design and application architecture</li></ul>
Nice to Have<ul><li>
Experience with low-code / no-code platforms, preferably Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
</li><li>Experience modernizing legacy systems
</li><li>Cloud experience, preferably Azure
