Job Title: Residential House ManagerPosition Summary:The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Step Above Counseling Services' residential program while maintaining a safe, structured, clean, and supportive environment for clients. The House Manager supervises residential staff, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, coordinates household operations, and promotes a therapeutic living environment that supports client recovery and independence.The House Manager serves as a leader within the residential program by ensuring staff accountability, monitoring client activities, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining a high standard of care.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee the daily operations of the residential facility.</li><li>Ensure the residence remains clean, organized, safe, and fully operational.</li><li>Conduct daily walkthroughs of the property.</li><li>Monitor inventory of household and program supplies.</li><li>Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs.</li><li>Ensure all safety equipment is functional and accessible.</li><li>Supervise Residential Support Specialists and Direct Support Professionals.</li><li>Assist with employee orientation and training.</li><li>Monitor employee performance and adherence to company policies.</li><li>Provide coaching and corrective action when necessary.</li><li>Assist with scheduling and shift coverage.</li><li>Ensure proper staffing ratios are maintained.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential services.</li><li>Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.</li><li>Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Ability to pass required background checks.</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).</li><li>Completion of all required company and regulatory training.</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Leadership: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CPR/First Aid (Required)</li><li>Medication Management (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>50% (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
