Job SummaryThe Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations, and supporting management with timely financial reports. The role involves handling daily accounting operations, reconciliations, reporting, and coordination with auditors and other departments.Key Responsibilities Accounting &amp; Financial Operations<ul><li>Maintain accurate books of accounts (GL, AR, AP).</li><li>Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li><li>Ensure timely bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations.</li><li>Monitor receivables and payables; follow up on outstanding balances.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Statutory Requirements<ul><li>Ensure compliance with local tax laws (VAT, GST, Zakat, TDS, etc. as applicable).</li><li>Prepare and file VAT/GST returns accurately and on time.</li><li>Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation.</li><li>Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).</li></ul>Payroll &amp; Expense Management<ul><li>Assist in payroll processing, salary reconciliations, and deductions.</li><li>Review employee expense claims and ensure policy compliance.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation for reimbursements and allowances.</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.</li><li>Generate MIS reports for management decision-making.</li><li>Analyze costs and highlight discrepancies or risks.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Record Keeping<ul><li>Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and vendors.</li><li>Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.</li><li>Support finance manager with ad-hoc financial analysis and reports.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
