The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to guide customers through the selection process &mdash; from concept to completion. Provide expert advice on product options, design styles, durability, and budget considerationsKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom.</li><li>Provide professional design consultations and product recommendations.</li><li>Provide expert advice on product options, design styles, durability, and budget considerations</li><li>Prepare accurate, detailed quotes and proposals, ensuring clear communication of scope and pricing</li><li>Build lasting relationships with customers by delivering a professional, friendly, and supportive experience</li><li>Create and present detailed designs and layouts using 20/20 Design software.</li><li>Prepare accurate quotes, invoices, and sales documentation.</li><li>Manage customer projects through completion, ensuring satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain a thorough understanding of flooring, cabinetry, tile, and countertop materials and trends.</li><li>Collaborate with installers, project managers, and vendors to coordinate details.</li></ul>Team Collaboration &amp; Operations&middot; Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm product availability and delivery timelines&middot; Help maintain an organized showroom, ensuring samples and displays are up to date&middot; Stay current on flooring, cabinetry and countertop products, industry trends, and installation best practices&middot; Represent the company at local trade shows, events, or community promotions when neededProject Management&middot; Schedule and coordinate installation teams, ensuring projects start and finish on time&middot; Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or delays&middot; Track project progress, from material ordering to final walkthrough, ensuring all details are covered&middot; Serve as the main point of contact between customers, installers, and vendors&middot; Maintain detailed project records, including schedules, material lists, and installation notesQualifications<ul><li>2+ years of experience in interior design, showroom sales, installation/construction or related field.</li><li>Proficiency in 20/20 Design software (required).</li><li>Strong knowledge of flooring, cabinets, tile, and countertops.</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Self-motivated with a passion for design and helping customers.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401 (k) matching</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
