Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Inside Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to guide customers through the selection process — from concept to completion. Provide expert advice on product options, design styles, durability, and budget considerations

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom.
  • Provide professional design consultations and product recommendations.
  • Provide expert advice on product options, design styles, durability, and budget considerations
  • Prepare accurate, detailed quotes and proposals, ensuring clear communication of scope and pricing
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by delivering a professional, friendly, and supportive experience
  • Create and present detailed designs and layouts using 20/20 Design software.
  • Prepare accurate quotes, invoices, and sales documentation.
  • Manage customer projects through completion, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of flooring, cabinetry, tile, and countertop materials and trends.
  • Collaborate with installers, project managers, and vendors to coordinate details.

Team Collaboration & Operations

· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm product availability and delivery timelines

· Help maintain an organized showroom, ensuring samples and displays are up to date

· Stay current on flooring, cabinetry and countertop products, industry trends, and installation best practices

· Represent the company at local trade shows, events, or community promotions when needed

Project Management

· Schedule and coordinate installation teams, ensuring projects start and finish on time

· Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or delays

· Track project progress, from material ordering to final walkthrough, ensuring all details are covered

· Serve as the main point of contact between customers, installers, and vendors

· Maintain detailed project records, including schedules, material lists, and installation notes

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in interior design, showroom sales, installation/construction or related field.
  • Proficiency in 20/20 Design software (required).
  • Strong knowledge of flooring, cabinets, tile, and countertops.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for design and helping customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
