Job Summary: The Public Area Attendant ensures the cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas, including restrooms, elevators, and lobbies, to maintain high-quality standards. This role supports guest services by responding to requests and performing additional cleaning tasks to exceed guest expectations.</div></div><div></div><div><div><br>
Essential Functions and Duties:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Maintain cleanliness in all public areas of the hotel, including restrooms, lobbies, and elevators, to meet high standards of quality.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Respond to guest requests for items such as rollaway beds, refrigerators, and other amenities, and assist with turndown service when needed.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Clean back-of-house areas and provide assistance to hotel staff, such as vacuuming offices and checking room status.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Maintain inventory levels for public areas, such as towels for the fitness center and pool, and notify the supervisor when supplies are low.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Consistently monitor public areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the hotel.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Perform additional cleaning projects as directed by the supervisor, such as carpet or tile and grout cleaning.</div></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><div>
Follow brand standards and ensure all duties are performed to meet or exceed guest expectations.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div><i><br>

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
One+ month of related experience preferred</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks with speed and accuracy.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
Work Environment:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Must be able to lift, push, or pull loads weighing up to 30 lbs.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays, based on hotel needs.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Primarily indoor work, cleaning public areas and back-of-house spaces.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
