We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality espresso beverages and food, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service</li><li>Take customer orders accurately and efficiently</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages and food, including espresso-based drinks, coffee, teas, and breakfast food items</li><li>Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines</li><li>Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently</li><li>Handle cash and credit card transactions using Toast system</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including the espresso bar, counters, and seating areas</li><li>Restock supplies and ingredients as needed</li><li>Follow health and safety guidelines</li><li>Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required</li><li>Passion for coffee and willingness to learn</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and a team player</li><li>Basic math and cash handling skills</li><li>Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to stand for long periods</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds</li><li>Manual dexterity for operating coffee equipment</li></ul>At Stone's Throw, we're passionate about more than just crafting exceptional pizzas and beverages&mdash;we're dedicated to building a vibrant and positive work culture.
