Barista

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality espresso beverages and food, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages and food, including espresso-based drinks, coffee, teas, and breakfast food items
• Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines
• Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently
• Handle cash and credit card transactions using Toast system
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including the espresso bar, counters, and seating areas
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Dependable, punctual, and a team player
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Manual dexterity for operating coffee equipment

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
