We are a small CPA firm seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support multiple client accounts. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day bookkeeping functions across a variety of small business clients.This position is ideal for someone who is organized, consistent, and comfortable managing multiple sets of books in a variety of industries.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis</li><li>Record financial transactions, including journal entries and adjustments</li><li>Enter payroll transactions and monitor payroll for accuracy</li><li>Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner</li><li>Support tax preparation by ensuring books are complete and accurate</li><li>Communicate with internal staff and clients to gather missing information or clarify transactions</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1+ year of bookkeeping or accounting-related experience OR relevant coursework/training</li><li>Familiarity with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) preferred; willingness to learn required</li><li>Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, and reconciliations)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment</li></ul>Training &amp; Growth<ul><li>Training will be provided for the right candidate with a solid foundation in bookkeeping or accounting</li><li>Opportunity to build experience working with multiple clients and industries</li><li>Ongoing support from experienced staff</li><li>Remote work is a possibility in certain circumstances after several months on the job</li></ul>Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Have you used QuickBooks before (Desktop or Online), even at a basic level?</li><li>Are you comfortable learning new systems and working with multiple clients?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
