<p>
To assess, plan, and supervise structural interventions in vulnerable schools to mitigate flood risks and ensure MHM-inclusive WASH facilities. The role ensures quality engineering support for safe learning environments and contributes to the technical execution of early warning mechanisms and retrofitting works.</p>
<p><b>
Main Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct assessments of vulnerable school infrastructure for pre monsoon/flood risks.</li>
<li>Develop retrofitting plans for school buildings and WASH facilities, ensuring flood-resilience and MHM inclusivity.</li>
<li>Supervise repair and retrofitting work on-site, ensuring safety and quality standards.</li>
<li>Work closely with school management, contractors, and local authorities during implementation.</li>
<li>Support in identifying safe evacuation routes and secure infrastructure points in schools.</li>
<li>Prepare engineering estimates, BOQs, and technical documentation for interventions.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with DRR standards and climate-resilient infrastructure guidelines.</li>
<li>Assist in the design and implementation of early warning systems infrastructure.</li>
<li>Document progress and provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager.</li>
</ul><div><b>Job Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Master preferably in sociology or any discipline of social sciences.</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of program management in Sindh Province.</li>
<li>Excellent typing and analytical skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills in English</li>
<li>3 Years (At least 3 years of work experience in social/development sector)</li>
<li>The position is only open for residents of Sindh and preference will be given to local candidates</li>
