Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and safety protocols will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of construction, mining, or waste management operations, contributing to large-scale projects with energy and enthusiasm.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbed trucks to transport materials to designated locations</li><li>Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of cargo</li><li>Follow established routes and schedules to meet project deadlines while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels, and safety equipment to ensure optimal operation</li><li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports for compliance and operational efficiency</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit</li><li>Assist with the setup and securing of loads on refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, or flatbeds as needed for specialized freight</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with a clean driving record, preferably with endorsements for manual transmission operation</li><li>Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight loading/unloading and route driving</li><li>Familiarity with operating various truck types such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbeds</li><li>Ability to manually operate equipment like forklifts for loading/unloading cargo when necessary</li><li>Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and heavy vehicle operation in diverse environments</li><li>Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly</li><li>Physical ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and handle freight securely in different weather conditions</li></ul>Join us as a Dump Truck Driver and become an essential part of our team dedicated to delivering quality service safely and efficiently.
