Job Title: Junior Planning EngineerWe are looking for a Junior Planning Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our team. The Junior Planning Engineer will assist in the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules, working closely with senior project staff to ensure efficient planning and timely completion of construction projects.Responsibilities:-Assist in developing project plans and schedules under the guidance of senior planners, establishing timelines, milestones, and identifying critical paths. -Support project teams by efficiently allocating personnel, equipment, and materials, and help optimize resource utilization to meet project objectives. -Regularly update project schedules to reflect progress, support senior planners in analyzing impacts, and propose minor adjustments when necessary. -Assist in identifying potential bottlenecks and critical paths and work with senior planners to develop strategies to minimize delays. -Conduct initial risk assessments related to project schedules and create basic contingency plans to address minor delays. -Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide basic scheduling support. -Generate weekly project progress reports under the supervision of senior planners, highlighting key milestones and any schedule deviations. -Collaborate with procurement and project teams to assist in resource availability tracking and help identify potential constraints. -Utilize project management software to create, update, and maintain project schedules and assist in training project team members on scheduling tools and methodologies. -Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and assist in implementing best practices under senior planners' guidance.Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li><li>5 years of experience as a Junior Planning Engineer in the construction industry.</li><li>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good communication and collaboration abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in spoken and written English.</li><li>Must have a valid Kuwaiti residency (transferable) and a Kuwaiti driving license.</li></ul>Application Instructions:If you meet the above requirements and are interested in joining our team as a Junior Planning Engineer, please submit your resume to careers@secq8.com.
