Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prosthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing oral health and patient satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform complex prosthodontic procedures including crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and implant-supported restorations with precision and care.</li><li>Assess patients&rsquo; oral health status through thorough examinations, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical assessments, and diagnostic imaging.</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate prosthodontic techniques aligned with patients&rsquo; needs and preferences.</li><li>Collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.</li><li>Maintain detailed and accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.</li><li>Utilize advanced dental technology such as dental fabrication tools, digital imaging systems (including medical imaging), and electronic health records software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to guarantee patient safety.</li><li>Educate patients on post-treatment care, maintenance of prosthetic devices, and overall oral health practices.</li><li>Stay current with developments in prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and related fields through ongoing education.</li><li>Uphold the highest standards of patient care by demonstrating excellent communication skills and compassionate service throughout every interaction.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to prosthodontics.</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry with specialized expertise in prosthodontics procedures such as dental fabrication, root canal therapy for prosthetic cases, and dental extractions.</li><li>Proficiency with dental office management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.</li><li>Ability to perform complex procedures involving endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry (including pediatric patient assessment), and implantology.</li><li>Skilled in patient assessment techniques to evaluate treatment options effectively while considering individual patient needs.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for educating patients about their treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development within the fields of prosthodontics and general dentistry.
