Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Prosthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

• Perform complex prosthodontic procedures including crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and implant-supported restorations with precision and care.
• Assess patients’ oral health status through thorough examinations, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical assessments, and diagnostic imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate prosthodontic techniques aligned with patients’ needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
• Utilize advanced dental technology such as dental fabrication tools, digital imaging systems (including medical imaging), and electronic health records software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to guarantee patient safety.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, maintenance of prosthetic devices, and overall oral health practices.
• Stay current with developments in prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and related fields through ongoing education.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient care by demonstrating excellent communication skills and compassionate service throughout every interaction.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to prosthodontics.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with specialized expertise in prosthodontics procedures such as dental fabrication, root canal therapy for prosthetic cases, and dental extractions.
• Proficiency with dental office management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.
• Ability to perform complex procedures involving endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry (including pediatric patient assessment), and implantology.
• Skilled in patient assessment techniques to evaluate treatment options effectively while considering individual patient needs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills for educating patients about their treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.
