<div>Studdard Moving Group is a family owned and operated moving company that is currently seeking an experienced Local Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our business. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Understands and carries out all daily operational responsibilities in accordance with company policies, and procedures.</li><li>
Performs job costing including labor, materials and other operational expenses.</li><li>
Interviews, hires, and trains new production employees.</li><li>
Manages production team, movers, packers, drivers and warehouse employees.</li><li>
Ensures production team complies with company policies and procedures.</li><li>
Provides ongoing input to improve service delivery in existing business and new business.</li><li>
Leads and collaborates with management to review, address and resolve customer and/or other production team issues.</li><li>
Ensures established cost, quality, and service delivery commitments are met.
</li><li>Responsible for daily and short-term forecasting/planning of personnel, equipment, and materials for each job.</li><li>
Measures and analyzes completed job assignments.</li><li>
Responsible for periodic and on demand reports.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
<ul><li>
Become a certified move trainer.</li><li>
Get driver qualified.</li></ul> 

QUALIFICATIONS 
 
 Education<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required.</li></ul>
 
 Experience/Knowledge<ul><li>
Prior moving or transportation industry experience.</li><li>
5-10 years operation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.</li><li>
General knowledge of basic office equipment (copier, fax, etc.).</li><li>
Basic Microsoft proficiency.</li></ul> 

 Skills/Abilities<ul><li>
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and proficiency in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>
Able to set and adjust priorities effectively.</li><li>
Must be able to use good judgment and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Good organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and detail-orientation.</li><li>
Solid &ldquo;customer-facing&rdquo; skills and interpersonal communication skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Must exhibit a professional image, customer empathy, and exceptional service attitude.</li></ul>
