We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant / Financial Analyst to manage financial processes for our dynamic business, which includes both delivery services and transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and excel in using accounting software and spreadsheets for financial management and reporting.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly, including expenses, revenues, and journal entries.</li><li>Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, manage payment schedules, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers.</li><li>Generate invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain records of all customer accounts and transactions.</li><li>Administer payroll processes including calculating wages, handling deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and employment regulations.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.</li><li>Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate tracking of all financial transactions.</li><li>Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.</li><li>Analyze costs related to transport and delivery operations, ensuring proper allocation and control of expenses.</li><li>Utilize Excel and other software tools to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for the business.</li><li>Ensure financial records adhere to legal requirements, regulations, and internal policies, and assist in preparing for audits.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on bookkeeping, AP, AR, and payroll management.</li><li>Previous experience working in a transport or delivery-related business is highly preferred.</li><li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.</li><li>Proficiency in using accounting software such as Zoho, Xero, or similar systems.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial management and reporting.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, clients, and vendors.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with Last-mile delivery business and transport operations</li><li>Proven experience with Payroll process.</li><li>Knowledge of transport-related costs and budgeting processes</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>logistics: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>
