This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives through expert care and innovative treatment approaches.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations of the lower extremities</li><li>Diagnose conditions related to foot, ankle, and lower limb disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic tools such as medical imaging</li><li>Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating interventions like wound care, orthotics, medication management, and surgical procedures when necessary</li><li>Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently</li><li>Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, debridement, and botulinum toxin treatments for various foot conditions</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, physical therapy, and primary care providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care</li><li>Educate patients on preventive foot health practices, lifestyle modifications, and post-treatment care to enhance recovery and long-term wellness</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice in the relevant jurisdiction</li><li>Proven experience in outpatient podiatric care with familiarity in medical terminology and clinical evaluation techniques</li><li>Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical imaging modalities like CT scans, and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms</li><li>Competence in performing surgical procedures including suturing and wound management; experience with perioperative care is a plus</li><li>Ability to handle complex cases involving diabetic foot ulcers, trauma, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education; ability to work effectively within hospital or clinic settings including inpatient environments</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times</li></ul>Join us as a Podiatrist and become part of a forward-thinking healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional foot health services.
