Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, combining clinical expertise with compassionate patient service. Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations of the lower extremities
  • Diagnose conditions related to foot, ankle, and lower limb disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic tools such as medical imaging
  • Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating interventions like wound care, orthotics, medication management, and surgical procedures when necessary
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
  • Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, debridement, and botulinum toxin treatments for various foot conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, physical therapy, and primary care providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients on preventive foot health practices, lifestyle modifications, and post-treatment care to enhance recovery and long-term wellness

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven experience in outpatient podiatric care with familiarity in medical terminology and clinical evaluation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical imaging modalities like CT scans, and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms
  • Competence in performing surgical procedures including suturing and wound management; experience with perioperative care is a plus
  • Ability to handle complex cases involving diabetic foot ulcers, trauma, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education; ability to work effectively within hospital or clinic settings including inpatient environments
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times

Pay: $105,476.45 - $127,025.41 per year
