Server Responsibilities (subject but not limited to the following):<ul><li>Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies</li><li>Help guests select food and beverages by presenting suggestions from the menu, offering cocktails, explaining the chef's specials, and answering food preparation questions</li><li>Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional customer service</li><li>Stay updated on current menu choices/specials and knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items</li><li>Be alert by responding to additional guest needs and observing dining process</li><li>Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed and refilling beverage glasses</li><li>Obtain cash or credit card payment by issuing the bill, accepting payment, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests</li><li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed</li><li>Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor</li><li>Fill in for absent staff as needed</li><li>Assist with special events as needed</li><li>Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently</li><li>Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management</li><li>Skills and Requirements:</li><li>At least 6 months previous serving experience required, 1+ years preferred</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to work as a team</li><li>Ability to lift at least 25 pounds</li><li>Knowledge on proper timing between course meals is a plus</li><li>No education required</li></ul>Additional for Bartender (subject but not limited to the following):-Must be at least 21 years old -Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons -Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks-Beer &amp; Wine knowledge or willingness to learn -Assess customers&rsquo; needs and preferences and make recommendations -Check customers&rsquo; identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age -Re-stock and replenish bar inventory and supplies -Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience -Comply with all food and beverage regulations -Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally -Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company&rsquo;s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department -Must possess a positive, vibrant personality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Must be available to work events as neededJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $2.13 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What would be your weekly availability?</li><li>Would you be open to working at Sully's Petal location?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bartending: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Hattiesburg, MS 39402 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
