Job Description: Work in the Renewable, Solar, and Battery Storage Market. Our growing company is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Employee Benefits Coordinator to support the Company&rsquo;s employee benefits administration process. This role will support the Company Human Resources Manager with day-to-day benefits management tasks and the broader administrative team by helping ensure employees receive accurate, timely, and professional assistance with benefits-related processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, follow-through, and the ability to work independently within established procedures.Location: RemotePay: DOE (Hourly, Non-Exempt)Benefits:This position may be eligible to participate in benefit plans currently offered by the Company provided that all eligibility criteria are met.Reports to: Human Resources ManagerPreferred Background:&middot; Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.&middot; Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative, human resources, payroll, benefits, or employee service-related role preferred.&middot; Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements as they relate to employee benefits administration.&middot; Prior experience working with Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), HRIS systems, and benefits invoice reconciliation preferred.&middot; Experience handling PHI and PII in compliance with confidentiality, privacy, and data protection requirements.&middot; Proven efficiency through prior experience in a remote position.Required Skillsets:&middot; Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.&middot; Strong written and verbal communication skills&middot; High emotional intelligence (EQ) when working with diverse teams.&middot; Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.&middot; Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within established processes.&middot; Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads with a positive, solution-based attitude and result-oriented mindset.&middot; Ability to follow written procedures and escalate questions appropriately.Willingness and ability to learn new systems and software.&middot; Prompt follow-through and responsiveness.&middot; Clear understanding of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.&middot; Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s licenseJob Responsibilities:&middot; Support new hire benefit enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and maintenance of employee benefit records within applicable systems.&middot; Assist with annual open enrollment activities, including employee communications, enrollment tracking, follow-up, and administrative support.&middot; Reconcile monthly benefit invoices against payroll reports, enrollment records, and employee benefit elections, identifying and documenting discrepancies for resolution.&middot; Assist with tracking benefit deduction changes, missed deductions, corrections, and retroactive adjustments as directed.&middot; Serve as a professional point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing assistance with enrollment processes, system navigation, and general benefits-related questions.&middot; Troubleshoot and escalate complex benefit, carrier, eligibility, payroll deduction, or claims-related issues to the Human Resources Manager.&middot; Coordinate routine communication and follow-up with benefit brokers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and system vendors as directed.&middot; Maintain and organize benefits-related documents, forms, employee notices, internal tracking tools, and resource materials.&middot; Assist with preparation of benefits-related reports, audits, compliance activities, and administrative tracking requirements.&middot; Support COBRA-related administrative activities.&middot; Protect and maintain confidential employee information while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and compliance with company procedures.&middot; Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Physical Requirements: &middot; Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds when required&middot; Ability to sit or stand for extended periods with occasional bending or reaching&middot; Ability to traverse construction jobsites on uneven terrain when necessary&middot; Ability to work in varying weather conditions when visiting jobsites&middot; Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required by jobsite or task&middot; Ability to operate a motor vehicle for work-related tasksReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>driver's license (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
