JOB SUMMARY: Provides support for management and responsible for transportation activities. Functions as a direct point of contact for customers, drivers, contract carriers and division employees in various departments.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<ul><li>Monitor personnel or equipment locations and coordinate service and schedules.</li><li>Maintain accurately always described routes in process, maintain route updates, and make route changes as necessary.</li><li>Plan all transportation activities to optimize efficiency of facilities, personnel, supplies, and equipment.</li><li>Utilize various sources of communication for scheduling; including internet, e-mail and company phone system.</li><li>Communicate with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment.</li><li>Prepare daily work and run schedules.</li><li>Document both positive and negative driver performance on prescribed forms.</li><li>Check paperwork prepared by drivers for accuracy and completeness, coordinate paper flow, maintain records, and analyze systems for process improvement.</li><li>Assist with ensuring that all shipments follow DOT rules and regulations governing drivers, interstate shipping and all other applications.</li><li>Prepares and produces department reports as necessary, including Bill of Lading and Loading Sheets.</li><li>Assists with investigations into the causes of damage or shortages in consignments or overcharges for freight or insurance.</li><li>Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisors</li><li>Performs other job duties as assigned by supervisor</li></ul>COMPETENCIES:<ul><li>Problem Solving/Analysis</li><li>Customer/Client Focus</li><li>Results Driven</li><li>Flexibility</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>2 Years of Dispatch Experience and/or CDL Driving Experience</li><li>PC skills, preferably with Windows based software including MS Word 6.0 and Lotus 5.0</li><li>Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to manage difficult situations and diffuse conflicts with customers</li></ul>WORK REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Seldom lift and/or move up to 30 pounds</li><li>Sitting, typing, bending, stooping, reaching, seeing, hearing, speaking.</li><li>Contribute to a positive and productive work environment Conform and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions</li><li>Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment</li></ul>SAFETY:This is not a safety-sensitive position. SHIPPING/RECEIVING CLERK

JOB SUMMARY: Work safely and accurately to maintain/repair the facility, equipment and fixtures. Will assist other maintenance personnel in performing preventive maintenance, diagnosis, repairs as well as new equipment installation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: &middot; Apply technical knowledge and skills to repair and maintain industrial machinery and equipment such as cranes, material handling equipment, band saws, welding power sources, welding wire feeders, gas/diesel engines and buildings.&middot; Ensure all work is performed and completed in conformance with any related codes, guidelines or standards established by a manufacturer or regulating body.&middot; Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed in a neat professional manner.&middot; Ensure a safe work environment by following prescribed guidelines.&middot; Performs welding, carpentry and repairs of electrical or mechanical equipment.&middot; Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.REQUIREMENTS:&middot; High school diploma or equivalent.&middot; Trade school certification/Training in maintenance related field (experience may substitute for training)&middot; 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; exposure to hydraulic systems, crane systems and industrial manufacturing equipment preferred&middot; Possess a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation; frequently works alone in production environment&middot; Work independently and/or as a willing cooperative team member.&middot; Willingly take directions from Supervisory and Lead personnel.&middot; Follow quality procedures and demonstrate strong safety awareness.&middot; Mandatory overtime is requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. Frequently lift and or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Comfort with heights is preferred.WORK ENVIRONMENT: In general, the employee will be exposed to a structural steel fabrication environment with excessive noise levels. Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions; frequently works near moving mechanical parts; frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
