This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced medical environment while delivering exceptional patient service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service at the front desk</li><li>Use EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system (Medent) ensuring accuracy and timely updates</li><li>Handles phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and taking detailed messages when necessary</li><li>Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review</li><li>Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical insurance and updating demographic information accurately</li><li>Support medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing patient flow within the clinic</li><li>Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans by providing administrative support related to documentation review and medical billing</li><li>Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including gowning and pre-op support</li><li>Assist with patient transport to and from procedure and recovery areas</li><li>Monitor and document basic patient information (e.g., vital signs, comfort levels) under supervision</li><li>Support nurses and physicians with non-clinical and basic clinical tasks</li><li>Ensure patient rooms and clinical areas are clean, stocked, and organized</li><li>Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families</li><li>Assist with post-operative care, including discharge preparation and instructions</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards</li><li>Assists patients to their vehicles upon discharge</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (required)</li><li>Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (preferred)</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred or required upon hire)</li><li>Previous experience in a surgical center, hospital, or clinical setting (preferred)</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, team-oriented environment</li></ul>Join us in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
