<p>Responsibilities</p>
<div>1. Follow established performance standards and performs duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.</div>
<div>2. Responsible for assisted administration of all prescribed medication during shift.</div>
<div>3. Responsible for all as needed medications and follow up in one hour.</div>
<div>4. Follows care plan as to how medications are to be given.</div>
<div>5. Follows medication delegation guidelines as received by nurse delegator as needed.</div>
<div>6. Identify special resident problems and report them immediately to the nurse.</div>
<div>7. Provide direct resident care as assigned, completing assignments accurately and in a timely manner.</div>
<div>8. Responsible for documenting all medications and concerns for every resident under direct care.</div>
<div>9. Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action immediately.</div>
<div>10. Provide nursing care to residents without violating residents&rsquo; rights.</div>
<div>11. Participate in facility education programs as assigned.</div>
<div>12. Attend all classes as assigned and complete assignments accurately and timely.</div>
<div>13. Assume personal responsibility for following facility procedures related to control of equipment and supplies within the unit.</div>
<div>14. Report suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate state agencies and personnel.</div>
<div>15. Accurately document incidents and/or unusual problems according to established facility procedures.</div>
<div>16. Review care plan daily and performs nursing assistant tasks as outlined.</div>
<div>17. Receive all medications in PCC as needed.</div>
<div>18. Other duties as assigned.</div><p></p><p><br>
Required Qualifications (Certificates and Licenses)</p>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree</li><li>
Washington State licensed NAC/CNA/HCA</li><li>
CPR Certification (can be obtained after hire)</li><li>
Medication and diabetes nurse delegation certification.</li></ul>
<p>Required Education</p>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree</li><li>
Current Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) or Home Care Aide (HCA) in Washington</li></ul>
<p><i>
Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.</i></p><div>
