Position Overview 
Westlake Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Marketing &amp; Provider Relations Specialist to help grow awareness and utilization of our pharmacy and compounding services throughout Utah and surrounding markets. 
 
This is a front-line field sales and relationship management role requiring regular in-person visits with providers, clinics, and healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships face-to-face, developing new business opportunities, and helping grow a fast-moving independent pharmacy and compounding practice. 
 
This position will play a major role in supporting: 
<ul><li>Compounding pharmacy growth</li><li>Provider relationship development</li><li>Weight loss and hormone clinic expansion</li><li>New product and service launches</li><li>Community outreach and brand awareness</li><li>The transition and promotion of our new pharmacy location</li></ul> 
This role offers independence, variety, and the opportunity to directly contribute to the continued growth of an innovative independent pharmacy. 
 
Compensation 
<ul><li>Base salary up + performance-based commission opportunities after generating $100,000 in new business revenue for the company.</li><li>Additional incentives may be available based on growth, provider retention, and relationship development</li><li>Approved travel and business expenses reimbursed in accordance with company policy</li></ul> 

Primary Responsibilities 
Provider &amp; Clinic Relationship Development 
<ul><li>Travel throughout assigned territories conducting in-person provider visits</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinics, and healthcare organizations</li><li>Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for providers and office staff</li><li>Help improve provider satisfaction, retention, and engagement</li><li>Coordinate provider lunches, educational visits, and networking opportunities</li></ul> 
Sales &amp; Business Development 
<ul><li>Prospect and develop new provider and clinic relationships</li><li>Identify opportunities to grow prescription volume and pharmacy utilization</li><li>Assist with launching and promoting new compounded products and pharmacy services</li><li>Present pharmacy capabilities, service offerings, and workflow advantages to providers</li><li>Maintain and manage a pipeline of growth opportunities and follow-up activities</li></ul> 
Marketing &amp; Brand Development 
<ul><li>Support social media, outreach, and marketing initiatives</li><li>Assist with patient-facing and provider-facing marketing materials</li><li>Help create awareness surrounding the pharmacy relocation and expansion</li><li>Participate in conferences, events, sponsorships, and community engagement opportunities</li><li>Help maintain a professional and consistent brand image</li></ul> 
Documentation &amp; Reporting 
<ul><li>Maintain detailed CRM documentation of provider interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activities</li><li>Provide regular reporting on sales activity, provider engagement, and territory growth</li><li>Communicate provider feedback internally to pharmacy leadership and operational teams</li><li>Track marketing and business development efforts to help measure growth initiatives</li></ul> 
Compliance &amp; Professionalism 
<ul><li>Maintain familiarity with applicable pharmacy marketing regulations and compliance standards</li><li>Avoid inappropriate medical, efficacy, or regulatory claims</li><li>Represent the company professionally at all times</li><li>Protect confidential patient and business information</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>1&ndash;2+ years of outside or field sales experience preferred</li><li>Strong relationship-building and communication skills</li><li>Comfortable with regular in-person provider interaction and local travel</li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently</li><li>Strong presentation and follow-through skills</li><li>Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, medical sales, or marketing preferred</li><li>Knowledge of compounding pharmacy services preferred</li><li>CRM and Microsoft Office experience preferred</li><li>Pharmacy technician license preferred</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, business, healthcare, communications, or related field preferred</li><li>Must reside in Utah</li></ul>

Position Expectations 
This role involves significant face-to-face interaction and local travel throughout Utah. Applicants seeking fully remote or work-from-home positions may not be a good fit for this role.
