 SUNUM, in collaboration with Delft University of Technology and the University of Southampton under TEAM-NANO initiative, is offering four Researcher positions in cutting-edge fields of nanotechnology, flexible electronics, sensors, and nano-electronic devices.
 
 
 The successful candidates will contribute both scientifically and strategically: conducting cutting-edge experimental research while also developing new project proposals and securing external funding to strengthen SUNUM&rsquo;s research capacity.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Researcher 1 &ndash; Circuit Design for Flexible Electronics
 
 
 
 Focus: Flexible circuits for IoT systems, wearables, sensors, and medical devices.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop flexible circuits/e-textiles using advanced materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Program and integrate microcontrollers &amp; sensors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Tailor designs for healthcare and environmental monitoring.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform simulations and experimental validation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 PhD in Electrical Engineering/Electronics (minimum 3+ years post-PhD experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in flexible/printed electronics, CAD tools, and cleanroom processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Skills in microcontroller programming (Python, C, Matlab).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Researcher 2 &ndash; Micro/Nano Electronic Sensors for Healthcare
 
 
 
 Focus: Development of e-nose and nanomechanical chip sensors.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design/fabricate nano-electronic sensors with lithography, thin-film, and printing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrate advanced materials (2D and quantum materials).
 </li>
 <li>
 Functionalize devices with bio-/chemo-receptors for biomarker detection.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct performance testing (sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 PhD in Electrical Engineering/Electronics (minimum 3+ years post-PhD experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on cleanroom experience; electrical, optical and structural characterization
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of low-power device design preferable.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 3. Researcher 3 &ndash; Advanced Sensor Technologies
 
 
 
 Focus: Sensor integration with NFC/RFID systems, wireless communication, and battery-free operation.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Integrate sensors with NFC/RFID transponders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop RF energy-harvesting systems for battery-free systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement ADC-based data acquisition &amp; intuitive user interfaces (apps/PC).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 PhD in Electrical Engineering/Electronics (minimum 3+ years post-PhD experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in RF energy harvesting, sensor communication protocols, mobile app development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in cleanroom processes and circuit design.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Researcher 4 &ndash; Nanoelectronic Devices for Next-Gen Computing &amp; Memory
 
 
 
 Focus: Low-power, high-performance nano-electronic devices for neuromorphic computing and memory.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Fabricate nano-electronic devices (NEMS/MEMS) using micro and nanofabrication techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrating 2D and quantum materials, polymers, metal oxides and redox-active molecules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Material/device characterization (electrical, optical, thermal and structural).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or related fields (minimum 3+ years post-PhD experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in MEMS/NEMS memory devices and 2D/quantum material integration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background in cleanroom processes, device design, and optoelectronics.
 </li>
 </ul>
