You take pride in leaving things better organized than you found them.The RoleSuperior Control Systems is hiring a Sales Engineer / Technical Enablement Engineer to support growth by removing friction from engineering and sales workflows.This role exists to:<ul><li>Reduce unnecessary engineering rework</li><li>Create clarity in how technical work is shared externally</li><li>Preserve intellectual property while improving technical credibility</li></ul>This is not a quota-based sales role and not business development.It is a hands-on engineering role focused on drawings, documentation, and process design.What You&rsquo;ll Be Responsible ForOver your first 6&ndash;12 months, you will:<ul><li>Build and maintain a library of sanitized control panel drawings safe for use in sales and marketing</li><li>Design sales-ready technical drawings that clearly communicate capability without exposing proprietary details</li><li>Create drawing-based assets that support sales conversations, scoping, and customer education</li><li>Design and document engineering processes so work can be repeated consistently</li><li>Establish clear guidelines for what technical materials can be reused externally</li><li>Deliver credible, complete technical packages that build trust before price is discussed.</li></ul>Your work should allow senior engineers to focus on design and delivery.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Modify and adapt existing industrial control panel drawings for external use</li><li>&ldquo;Whitewash&rdquo; real project drawings to remove customer-specific or confidential elements</li><li>Work closely with engineers to understand design intent and constraints</li><li>Translate engineering workflows into clear, step-by-step documentation</li><li>Maintain and improve technical assets as standards evolve</li></ul>You will work primarily internally. Customer interaction is limited and purposeful.Required Background<ul><li>Hands-on experience designing industrial control panels</li><li>Familiarity with UL 508A standards and how they influence design decisions</li><li>Ability to read, understand, and modify other engineers&rsquo; drawings accurately</li><li>High attention to detail and respect for technical standards</li><li>3-5 years of 3D modeling experience required (Fusion 360 experience preferred)</li><li>Adapting to unwritten standards of design.
