The Role

Superior Control Systems is hiring a Sales Engineer / Technical Enablement Engineer to support growth by removing friction from engineering and sales workflows.

This role exists to:

  • Reduce unnecessary engineering rework
  • Create clarity in how technical work is shared externally
  • Preserve intellectual property while improving technical credibility

This is not a quota-based sales role and not business development.

It is a hands-on engineering role focused on drawings, documentation, and process design.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Over your first 6–12 months, you will:

  • Build and maintain a library of sanitized control panel drawings safe for use in sales and marketing
  • Design sales-ready technical drawings that clearly communicate capability without exposing proprietary details
  • Create drawing-based assets that support sales conversations, scoping, and customer education
  • Design and document engineering processes so work can be repeated consistently
  • Establish clear guidelines for what technical materials can be reused externally
  • Deliver credible, complete technical packages that build trust before price is discussed.

Your work should allow senior engineers to focus on design and delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Modify and adapt existing industrial control panel drawings for external use
  • “Whitewash” real project drawings to remove customer-specific or confidential elements
  • Work closely with engineers to understand design intent and constraints
  • Translate engineering workflows into clear, step-by-step documentation
  • Maintain and improve technical assets as standards evolve

You will work primarily internally. Customer interaction is limited and purposeful.

Required Background

  • Hands-on experience designing industrial control panels
  • Familiarity with UL 508A standards and how they influence design decisions
  • Ability to read, understand, and modify other engineers’ drawings accurately
  • High attention to detail and respect for technical standards
  • 3-5 years of 3D modeling experience required (Fusion 360 experience preferred)
  • Adapting to unwritten standards of design. Adhere to design standards that exist in existing designs.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in a panel shop or systems integrator environment
  • Prior work creating engineering documentation, standards, or training materials
  • Comfort working in a structured, remote environment

Role Structure

  • Contract to start
  • Remote, open globally (Pakistan strongly preferred)
  • Opportunity to expand scope or convert based on performance and fit
  • Contractor agrees to be reasonably available for collaboration during 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Phoenix time, Monday through Friday, to ensure alignment with U.S. operations.

  • Prefer speed over accuracy
  • You are looking for part-time freelance or flexible-hour project work. It requires consistent collaboration availability during U.S. business hours.

Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to Rs115,385.00 per week
