What We're Looking For
Our Cowpens, South Carolina team is looking for an Operations Administrator who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys supporting both operations and customer service in a manufacturing environment.
The typical hours for the role are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
What You'll Do
Operations Support:<div><ul><li>
Create and receipt manufacturing batch tickets within the ERP system.</li><li>
Print labels for product containers.</li><li>
Verify inventory availability for orders received from Customer Service.</li><li>
Prepare and appropriately distribute documents for customer deliveries, which may include Bill of Ladings, Safety Data Sheets, and Certificates of Analysis.</li><li>
Manage incoming phone calls to provide support to internal customers.</li><li>
Receipt incoming Purchase Orders into the ERP system.</li><li>
Frequent collaboration with operations personnel to resolve discrepancies.</li><li>
Work with leadership and quality to manage slow-moving inventory.</li></ul></div>
Customer Service Support:<div><ul><li>
Identify and assess customers&rsquo; needs to achieve satisfaction.</li><li>
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.</li><li>
Maintain customer accounts by entering information within the ERP system.</li><li>
Manage incoming phone calls and orders received via email.</li><li>
Process orders within the ERP system.</li><li>
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments (quality, operations, and sales) to develop a service plan and resolve any service failures.</li><li>
Assist sales professionals with various administrative functions.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div>
Candidates Should Possess<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general computer applications.</li><li>
Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.</li><li>
Previous administrative, customer service, or manufacturing support experience is a plus.</li></ul>
