SureStay by Best Western Guam is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our hotel. This role plays an important part in keeping the property safe, efficient, and comfortable for both guests and team members.We&rsquo;re seeking a hands-on individual who is organized, proactive, and committed to completing quality maintenance work while contributing to a positive guest experience.Responsibilities<ul><li>Carry out maintenance and repair work related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general facility upkeep.</li><li>Inspect guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems to identify issues and address them in a timely manner.</li><li>Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the hotel&rsquo;s maintenance schedule.</li><li>Help maintain systems such as lighting, water heating equipment, fire protection devices, and other building systems.</li><li>Document completed repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.</li><li>Keep tools, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.</li><li>Assist with room setups, furniture moving, renovations, and other property projects when needed.</li><li>Follow all safety standards, hotel policies, and OSHA-related procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with management and outside vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance projects.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Prior experience in hotel, property, or facilities maintenance is preferred.</li><li>Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are a plus.</li><li>Good troubleshooting and repair skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service abilities.</li><li>Basic computer knowledge for work orders and maintenance records.</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.</li><li>Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional emergency call-ins if required.</li></ul>If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a well-functioning property, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.Join the team at SureStay by Best Western Guam and help provide a safe and comfortable stay for every guest.Work Location: In person
