This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and retail operations within a fast-paced food industry setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick turnaround times</li><li>Prepare and serve food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards, including basic food handling and food safety protocols</li><li>Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and sales totals</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation guidelines</li><li>Assist with food preparation when needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service</li><li>Support the team with food industry best practices, including proper food handling and restaurant experience standards</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or quick service &amp; fast food restaurant environments</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly</li><li>Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales upselling strategies</li><li>Experience with bussing tables, sanitation procedures, and general kitchen or caf&eacute; operations</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members</li><li>Previous restaurant or retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication makes a difference!
