You&rsquo;ll be responsible for ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining food safety standards, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms.</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.</li><li>Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.</li><li>Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests, upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; bus tables promptly and assist with food preparation when needed.</li><li>Foster guest relations by delivering attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation management.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.</li><li>Knowledge of food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety regulations.</li><li>Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales.</li><li>Previous experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable.</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.</li><li>Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for better understanding of menu items.
