Social Vocational Services, Inc. (SVS) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a Transportation Coordinator to oversee and manage transportation operations across Salinas, Marina, and Soledad.Position Summary As a Transportation Coordinator&ndash; Make a Difference Every Mile! By ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of SVS vehicles and drivers. This role includes Driver training and coaching, route coordination, vehicle maintenance oversight, and safety compliance.Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 7:00 AM &ndash; 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM &ndash; 4 PM (full-time, in-person)Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure vehicles are safe and available daily; conduct weekly site visits</li><li>Manage preventative maintenance, repairs, rentals, and telematics adjustments</li><li>Communicate with Program Directors and staff regarding vehicle and driver safety</li><li>Train SVS drivers and monitor driving behavior using telematics data</li><li>Coordinate vehicle delivery between sites and vendors</li><li>Investigate vehicle collisions and complete documentation</li><li>Prepare monthly reports on vehicle expenditures, mileage, and fuel usage</li><li>Serve as liaison for vehicle assignments and telematics reconciliation</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Transportation Manager</li><li>Act as a Mandated Abuse Reporter</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid California driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Must be 25 years of age or older (Required to arrange rental vehicle for Program offices)</li><li>Ability to pass health screening and DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance.</li><li>Familiarity with general vehicle maintenance and ability to work independently.</li><li>Familiar with using computers to enter and update records (will train if you can type).</li><li>Maintain valid vehicle insurance.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Mileage reimbursement</li></ul>To Apply: Please email your resume or work history to: Tiffany Weston, Transportation Manager tweston@svsinc.orgJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Our mission is to provide training &amp; support necessary for those who participate in the services to achieve their social, recreational, vocational &amp; residential goals.Employment SpecialistThis position is responsible for working with prospective employers in a number of different industries to procure both full and part-time employment for persons with disabilities.Serving: Salinas, Soledad, Marina and surrounding area.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Present concept of Supported Employment to prospective employers</li><li>Negotiate conditions of employment and pay for individuals and small groups</li><li>Interface with Program and Regional Directors in selecting types of jobs to be developed</li><li>Renegotiate existing contracts to maximum rate possible</li><li>Maintain quality control at contracted sites</li><li>submit documentation and reports per organizational and regulatory requirements</li></ul>Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred, three to four years' experience in sales, marketing or other job development related position.
