This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment while sharing your love of coffee with the community.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair</li><li>Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and seating areas</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations</li><li>Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous barista or Breakfast service experience is required*</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is a plus</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation techniques</li><li>Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy</li><li>Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout shifts in a fast-paced setting</li><li>A genuine passion for coffee, serving others, and creating welcoming environments</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey in the food industry where your skills shine!
