Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests

Requirements

• Previous barista or Breakfast service experience is required*
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout shifts in a fast-paced setting
• A genuine passion for coffee, serving others, and creating welcoming environments
