Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our vibrant caf&eacute; team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering exceptional service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. This position combines the art of coffee making with efficient cashiering, ensuring smooth transactions and memorable experiences for every guest.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced caf&eacute; environment</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently</li><li>Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change and totals</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and food preparation procedures</li><li>Assist in food service tasks like serving food items, restocking supplies, and ensuring the caf&eacute; remains inviting</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience as a barista or in a food service environment is highly preferred</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions</li><li>Experience in coffee preparation, serving beverages, and working in a caf&eacute; or retail setting is a plus</li><li>Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about creating delightful coffee experiences while delivering top-notch customer service!
