Barista Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista Cashier to join our vibrant café team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering exceptional service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change and totals
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and food preparation procedures
• Assist in food service tasks like serving food items, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café remains inviting
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Prior experience as a barista or in a food service environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience in coffee preparation, serving beverages, and working in a café or retail setting is a plus
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
