Work Schedule: Full-time - 40 hours a week. 10 &amp; 12 hour shifts available 
Pay Range: $35 - $40/ Hour; depending on experience 

Job Summary:
<ul><li> Conduct thorough assessments of residents&rsquo; respiratory status, including reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on residents&rsquo; needs and established protocols.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Administer respiratory therapies including Acapella, Incentive Spirometry (IS), EZPAP, and Chest Physiotherapy (CPT) to promote optimal lung function and prevent complications.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Monitor residents&rsquo; responses to treatment and adjust care plans as necessary, in collaboration with the medical staff.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Educate residents and their families about respiratory health, treatment options, and best practices for managing respiratory conditions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in residents&rsquo; medical records.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and contribute to overall care strategies.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of respiratory equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul><li> Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)</li></ul>
<ul><li> Previous experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting is highly desirable.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team and independently.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation standards.</li></ul>
