Heavy Equipment Operator &ndash; SWI Excavating LLC (Denver, CO)Pay: $28&ndash;$35/hour + OvertimeBuild Colorado&rsquo;s future with SWI Excavating! We&rsquo;re a locally owned heavy civil contractor that&rsquo;s been shaping Colorado since 1997. We specialize in earthwork, utilities, grading, and demolition projects across the Denver Metro and Front Range.We&rsquo;re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who takes pride in their work, runs safe, and helps the team finish strong every day.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, scrapers, skid steers, graders, and compactors</li><li>Read grade stakes, blueprints, and plans to complete work to spec</li><li>Use grade control systems to achieve tight tolerances</li><li>Trenching for utility installs</li><li>Earthwork Overlot &amp; Grading operations</li><li>Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance</li><li>Work safely around trenches, crews, and utilities</li><li>Communicate clearly with foremen and crew members</li><li>Jump in to help when needed with pipe laying, labor duties</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience operating heavy machinery in excavation or earthwork</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Physically able to lift 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather</li><li>Preferred: OSHA-10 and Trench Safety Competent Person certifications</li><li>Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul>Benefits:Pay &amp; Bonuses: Competitive hourly rate, overtime, project bonuses, and referral pay Benefits: 401(k) with match, medical, dental, vision, life &amp; disability insurance Time Off: Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave Growth: Paid training, certifications, and opportunities to advance Culture: Family-style team, BBQs, events, and open communicationScheduleFull-time | Monday&ndash;Friday | 10-hour shifts | 40&ndash;55 hrs/week Weekend overtime availableAbout SWI Excavating LLCSWI Excavating is a results-driven, family-built company guided by our core values: Results-Oriented &bull; Accountable &bull; Aligned &bull; Transparent &bull; Inspirational &bull; Disciplined Our vision is to complete 1,000 quality projects by 2034 and build better communities across Colorado.Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Englewood, CO 80110 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Englewood, CO 80110: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
