*Responsibilities:* - Deliver personalized instruction in subjects such as reading and/ or math
<ul><li>Utilize Sylvan program materials to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assess student progress on assignments and provide constructive feedback.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborate with Center staff to tailor learning plans to individual student needs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
</li></ul><ul><li>Manage student tasks and time effectively during instructional sessions.
</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate student progress and specific needs to Center staff regularly.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure that each instructional session concludes smoothly and update learning logs accordingly.</li></ul>

*Experience:* - Proficiency in subjects elementary math and/ or reading.
 <ul><li>Previous experience in educational settings or tutoring roles is advantageous.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students effectively.

Apply today, and don't let this opportunity pass you by!We are currently looking for a Full Time Associate Director of Education.As a successful Director of Education, your primary responsibility will be to champion the Sylvan-developed curriculum, manage and ensure the quality of the education standards and teaching staff as well as grow the business in your center. As a successful Associate Director of Education, you will:Grow the Center:<ul><li>Keep Mom and Dad informed on program progress</li><li>Make recommendations to modify education programs.</li><li>Offer additional programs if the student needs them</li><li>Provide exceptional communication and customer service to our families.</li></ul>Manage &amp; Train:<ul><li>Select, hire, train, and motivate all certified instructors, teachers and educational staff</li><li>Contribute to center success by controlling labor budget through managing instructor staffing levels and schedules</li><li>Provide oversight to staff related to all educational policies and procedures</li><li>Develop internal teachers and staff to allow us to promote employees from within</li><li>Balance client accounts each month</li></ul>Partner to run operations and Ensure Educational Integrity:<ul><li>Administering Sylvan Skills Assessments; analyzing and interpret results</li><li>Write and recommend goal-based programs for Sylvan students as well as monitor programs for performance.</li><li>Establish relationships and communications with students' teachers for insights on school progress</li><li>Create a positive learning environment by modeling motivational behavior in the center for staff, students and parents, during all phases of the instructional program</li></ul>We require:<ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree and teaching experience preferred</li><li>State teaching credentials (current or expired)</li><li>Managerial, business or retail experience (preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with instructional technology and tablet computers</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Word and other standard business applications used by the Center</li><li>Knowledge of general office equipment such as copiers, printers, and office phones</li><li>Ability to work a 40-hour work week.</li><li>Have comfort with a 5-day work week .</li></ul>What you get in return:As a team member, you'll work in a fast-paced environment and make an impact on our business, watching your Learning Center grow!
