We&rsquo;re building a highly efficient, technology-driven facility designed to produce innovative, high-quality beauty products for our partners.About the RoleWe&rsquo;re seeking a Raw Material Purchasing Specialist to manage the sourcing and procurement of cosmetic ingredients, packaging components, and lab consumables. This person will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth production operations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that Sylvara Labs has the materials needed to deliver excellence for every client.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Source and purchase cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging components from qualified suppliers</li><li>Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules</li><li>Work closely with formulation chemists and production teams to forecast material needs</li><li>Maintain and update purchase orders, inventory records, and supplier databases</li><li>Research and identify alternative suppliers to optimize cost and lead times</li><li>Ensure compliance with ingredient quality, documentation, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Track incoming shipments and coordinate with the warehouse on deliveries and inventory levels</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience (preferably in cosmetics, personal care, or related manufacturing)</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple orders and timelines simultaneously</li><li>Familiarity with cosmetic raw materials and INCI names is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in Excel, inventory management tools, or ERP systems</li><li>Self-motivated and adaptable to a startup environment</li></ul>Why Join Sylvara Labs<ul><li>Be part of an ambitious, fast-growing manufacturing company building the next generation of U.S.-based cosmetic production</li><li>Hands-on exposure to R&amp;D, manufacturing, and private-label brand development</li><li>Modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment arriving in early 2026</li><li>Growth opportunities as the company scales</li></ul>Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 AM - 5 PM Start Date: ImmediateJob Type: Full-timePay: From $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
