This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while honing your teaching and childcare skills in a dynamic setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, physical activity, and social skills.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and clear expectations.</li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.</li><li>Foster an inclusive environment that respects individual differences and supports children with special education needs.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children&rsquo;s progress, behavior, and camp updates.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow staff members to coordinate camp schedules, events, and special projects such as theater performances or sports tournaments.</li><li>Support children&rsquo;s emotional development through Christian counseling principles or other supportive techniques as appropriate.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven ability in classroom management and behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.</li><li>Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or summer camps.</li><li>Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.</li><li>Certification or training in first aid and CPR to respond confidently to emergencies.</li><li>Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively.</li><li>Ability to adapt activities for children with special needs or behavioral challenges.</li><li>Enthusiasm for sports coaching, theater arts, babysitting, tutoring or other extracurricular activities that enhance camp experiences.
