Summary: The primary objective is to assign and monitor driver routes while maintaining high levels of service to our customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned, and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties/responsibilities at any time.)&middot; Direct activities of drivers by phone and monitor drivers&rsquo; progress through route completion.&middot; Route creation &amp; changes as needed for driver changes and call-offs.&middot; Confer with retailers to expedite bin pick-ups, emergency pick-ups, and replacement of damaged bins.&middot; Maintain record of mileage, fuel used, bin inventory levels, and master routes.&middot; Maintain records of any driver delays/disruptions and equipment malfunctions. Obtain repair service in the case of a vehicle breakdown.&middot; Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and all Federal, State, and local laws.To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Analytical &ndash; Can analyze situations and provide timely solutions.Problem Solving &ndash; Identifies and resolves problems promptly, develops alternative solutions.Technical Skill &ndash; Strong knowledge of Microsoft products. Can work quickly and accurately in Excel, Word, Access, Etc.
