<div>Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys being hands-on and making an impact every day? We&rsquo;re looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing construction company with multiple locations in a union environment. In this role, you&rsquo;ll manage all aspects of HR&mdash;from recruiting and onboarding to compliance, benefits, and employee relations.

You&rsquo;ll serve as the go-to HR partner for both field and office staff, ensuring consistent HR practices and helping us maintain a positive, people-first culture. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations.

What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>
Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates for open positions</li><li>
Lead onboarding and employee engagement programs</li><li>
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns</li><li>
Administer HR programs, including performance management, employee relations, and training</li><li>
Manage compliance training such as Sexual Harassment Prevention and OSHA training</li><li>
Support payroll and benefits administration as needed</li><li>
Participate in employee meetings, disciplinary actions, and investigations</li><li>
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies</li><li>
Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and legal updates</li><li>
Handle other related HR tasks as assigned</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field from a U.S.-accredited university</li><li>
3&ndash;5 years of HR experience preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry required</li><li>
Knowledge of employment regulations, labor law compliance, union collective bargaining agreements and industry-standard HR practices</li><li>
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>
Comfortable working independently and maintaining confidentiality</li><li>
Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with UKG a plus</li><li>
SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required</li></ul>
