Description:T&amp;C Surf Designs is currently looking for a full-time Assistant Buyer to be part of our buying team. This individual will assist our Buying team with administrative, operational and organizational support. The position requires a business-minded, self-motivated professional with passion and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and have a strong desire to be part of a team.Key Responsibilities:-Support Buyer on all day-to-day functions of the department.-Manage the purchase order process including input, confirmations, maintenance, tracking, delivery and resolution of problems.-Manage Return-To-Vendor processing.-Responsible for preparing and analyzing reports.-Analyze sales and stock levels for transfer and markdown management.-Assists with the communication and follow-up with Vendors, Stores, Marketing, Accounting, Visual Merchandising and Warehouse personnel.-Responsible for staying up-to-date on the market trends.-Research fashion trends and direction with recommendation of new products.-Ensure all project deadlines are met.-Complete other duties as assigned to meet company goals.Qualifications:-Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements).-Proficient in Microsoft Office including strong knowledge of formatting of Excel spreadsheets.-Prior retail experience a plus.-Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.-Demonstrated analytical ability.-Excellent time management and organizational skills.-Knowledge of the marketplace.-Possess a strong fashion sense and have the ability to interpret trends.-Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.-Ability to build strong relationships with other employees and vendors.-Possess a positive, can-do attitude that looks for solutions to problems and is always willing to pitch in where needed.About T&amp;C SurfFounded in 1971 by surfboard shaper Craig Sugihara, T&amp;C Surf operates three divisions: Surfboard, Retail and Licensing. The Retail Division includes six locations on Oahu: Ala Moana Center, Haleiwa Store Lots, Kahala Mall, Ka Makana Ali&rsquo;I, Pearlridge Shopping Center and Windward Mall.
