We promote learning through student-directed discovery, the creative arts, music, and sunshine; and focus on correcting behavior through positive guidance. Tabernacle Child Care Center enrolls children 3 months-5 years of age. We are currently open Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM &ndash; 5:30 PM.We are looking for full-time teachers able to work Monday through Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm.Applicants must be:We are searching for applicants who are dependable, loving, energetic, and have a passion for working with young children! A degree or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and/or applicable experience of at least three years is required.Duties:<ul><li>Create a classroom environment that is safe, healthy, and nurturing and goes along with the philosophy and goals of our program.</li><li>Help and support children socially and emotionally through positive guidance.</li><li>Lesson-planning weekly using the STREAMin3 Curriculum and using your own creativity to provide lesson enhancements where necessary.</li><li>Collaborating with fellow teachers with our STREAMin3 Curriculum.</li><li>Changing diapers and clothes as needed.</li><li>Build positive relationships with families and provide information about a child's day.</li><li>Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting as needed.</li><li>Act as a team player as you work closely with fellow staff members.</li><li>Abide by COVID-19 cleaning procedures to ensure staff and students remain safe.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>At least 2 years of childcare experience in a Lead role</li><li>Lesson-planning experience</li><li>Previous experience with lesson planning and classroom management</li><li>High School Diploma</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field</li><li>3+ years of childcare experience</li><li>CDA</li><li>CPR/First Aid Certification</li><li>MAT Certification</li></ul>Position would start as soon as possible.
