Full Time Toddler Teacher

We are looking to add a full-time Infant teacher in our Infant classroom. We promote learning through student-directed discovery, the creative arts, music, and sunshine; and focus on correcting behavior through positive guidance. Tabernacle Child Care Center enrolls children 3 months-5 years of age. We are currently open Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

We are looking for full-time teachers able to work Monday through Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm.

Applicants must be:

We are searching for applicants who are dependable, loving, energetic, and have a passion for working with young children! A degree or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and/or applicable experience of at least three years is required.

Duties:

• Create a classroom environment that is safe, healthy, and nurturing and goes along with the philosophy and goals of our program.
• Help and support children socially and emotionally through positive guidance.
• Lesson-planning weekly using the STREAMin3 Curriculum and using your own creativity to provide lesson enhancements where necessary.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers with our STREAMin3 Curriculum.
• Changing diapers and clothes as needed.
• Build positive relationships with families and provide information about a child's day.
• Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting as needed.
• Act as a team player as you work closely with fellow staff members.
• Abide by COVID-19 cleaning procedures to ensure staff and students remain safe.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of childcare experience in a Lead role
• Lesson-planning experience
• Previous experience with lesson planning and classroom management
• High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• 3+ years of childcare experience
• CDA
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• MAT Certification
