Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times
• Support children’s developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities focused on childhood development, early childhood education, and preschool experience
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being
• Assist with toddler care and infant care routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
• Use teaching techniques to foster curiosity, creativity, and learning in children of diverse abilities, including working with individuals with disabilities
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards; administer first aid when necessary
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child’s progress and daily experiences

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or as a nanny or babysitter is highly valued
• Classroom experience or early childhood education background is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific care practices
• Experience with behavior management techniques that support positive growth and learning outcomes
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to caregiving or working with children are advantageous
• Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or disabilities is a plus
• Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
